Marketing Specialist – Data & Brand Activation

We’re seeking a versatile and driven Marketing Specialist who thrives at the intersection of data, brand strategy, and execution. This role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, a “whatever it takes” mentality, and a passion for turning insights into impact. You’ll be instrumental in compiling and analyzing data from Datassentials, Byzzer, and similar platforms, supporting trade show execution, sourcing branded gear, and collaborating with agencies to bring our brand to life. The position reports to the VP Sales & Marketing.

Responsibilities:

Data & Insights

  • Aggregate and analyze data from Datassentials, Byzzer, and similar platforms to uncover consumer trends, category dynamics, and competitive benchmarks
  • Leverage Salesforce.com to track performance, manage lead data, and support sales alignment
  • Utilize AI-powered tools to streamline research, enhance content creation, and uncover deeper insights from data
  • Translate findings into actionable recommendations for sales, product development, and marketing campaigns
  • Create compelling PowerPoint presentations that tell a clear story with data

Trade Show & Event Execution

  • Lead planning and logistics for trade shows and industry events, from booth design to branded giveaways
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and brand consistency
  • Track ROI and post-event performance metrics

Brand & Creative Collaboration

  • Partner with external agencies on brand strategy, visual identity, and marketing assets
  • Source and manage branded merchandise, promotional items, and customer giveaways
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints

Sales Team Engagement

  • Periodically travel with the sales team to support high-level customer meetings, bringing marketing insights and brand strategy to life
  • Assist in tailoring presentations and materials for strategic sales calls
  • Strengthen alignment between marketing and sales through direct field experience

Customer HQ Visit Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of customer headquarters visits—from arrival to departure
  • Create an unforgettable, hospitable experience that reflects the brand’s values and leaves a lasting impression
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless logistics, personalized touchpoints, and high-impact presentations

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, R&D, Operations and People Teams to align marketing efforts with business goals
  • Support go-to-market strategies for new product launches and retail initiatives; additionally supporting Employer Brand in coordination with People teams

Contribute to internal communications and team-building efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in CPG or food industry
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce.com for campaign tracking and lead management
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technologies for marketing automation, data analysis, and content generation
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills with a knack for visual storytelling
  • Experience with syndicated data platforms (Datassentials, Byzzer, and similar)
  • Proven success in trade show planning and execution
  • Resourceful and proactive in sourcing branded gear and promotional items
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and adaptability
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability and availability to travel periodically for strategic sales calls, customer meetings and trade shows
  • Passion for creating memorable, high-touch customer experiences during HQ visits
  • Willingness to grow rapidly and take on new challenges

Compensation Range: $60,000 - $75,000

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, and other job-related qualifications/skills.
