IT Support Specialist

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to support our users at two locations. The successful candidate will have experience with supporting the day-to-day IT infostructure requests and providing top tier customer service experience.

Responsibilities:

As an Information Technology Group Member, this role will:

  • Oversee and maintain organizational IT hardware
  • Track hardware assets
  • Ensure network infrastructure uptime and functionality
  • Ensure smooth transition for new hires and onboarded employees
  • Coordinate with hiring manager on equipment needs and access for new Hires
  • Work with HR on employee onboarding or offboarding as needed, ensuring asset retrieval and revocation of security access
  • Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company data and its Assets
  • Able to work across two physical sites
  • Assist as needed with M365 Tenant role functions
  • Fulfillment of IT Service Requests
  • Assist IT Manager in special projects
  • Oversee data backup and recovery
  • Perform system upgrades as needed to endpoints
  • Install new hardware and software
  • Ensure network infrastructure support and uptime for production environments
  • Assist managing vendor/consultant relationships
  • Dotted line reporting to FEMSA/Valora IT security group
  • Participate in IT Security meetings and roundtables as requested
  • Coordinate group security compliance as required from FEMSA/Valora

Requirements:

  • BS in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years’ experience in IT in similar role
  • Experience in a manufacturing industry
  • Able to work normal office hours, with occasional off-hours support
  • Role requires primarily on-site availability, limited remote work possibility
  • Experienced with Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems
  • Familiarity with Azure and Cloud management
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Good soft skills with end users
  • Experience with Power BI helpful
  • ERP (Sage) experience a plus
  • Ability to lift equipment (up to 30 lbs.)
  • Bi-lingual/Spanish-speaking helpful

Compensation Range: $55,000 - $65,000

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, and other job-related qualifications/skills.
